Today (well yesterday now) is my 24th Birthday. As the years go by it seems to me that I would rather just forget this day all together. Its not like when I was 5 and counted down the days till cake and gifts. Now its more like "oh crap, is it really that time again" and all I really want to do is sit and drink my glass of wine and not think about it.
When did Birthdays go from a child with cake all over her face to a woman wishing that the day way over?
